This topic was just discussed a couple weeks ago. I think it was talking about re-doing the interior. Check down a bit on the posts and see if it's not there. If I'm not mistaken it got quite lenghty with much good info.

80-86 & 87-91/92-96 Door Panels
If you're gonna do it, just go with the '92-96 panels. You have to use the switches & connectors, but if you don't want to pull new wires across your dash (and out of the donor truck at the junkyard), you can splice them onto your existing wires if you can read a wiring diagram and have a basic understanding of wiring. I went the thorough route of all new wiring:

The tricks are that you MUST relocate the armrest brace and you MUST change to the '92-96 flat-front vent window if you ever want to be able to open the vent window again. You CAN keep your old door glass by removing the spacer from the new vent window frame, but it's not much more trouble to swap door glass, too.
