94 F150 Performance Upgrade

Cheap is relative. What transmission?
#1: K&N or Air Hog gauze filter.
#2: Cat back exhaust system (Yes, headers and full exhaust system are better, you
said cheap, again relative).
#3: Programmer for computer to alter shift points, etc.
#4: If your running an E4OD, change the filter/fluid. Always helps performance &
longevity.

Sorry DSL glitch.
#5: Check distributor cap/rotor, wires, and coil. Better spark, better performance.
#6: Have your injectors power cleaned, I did it and you can feel difference!(Mileage is
better too, I've increased by 1.5 MPG on the average)
Ok, that's it for (relatively) cheap.
Good luck, Tex

Hey Tex how about a little more info on this power cleaning of injectors.
How is that done?

Any reputable shop can do this. I had it done at work as our resident mechanic has all the Ford experience in the world. They apparently (used a company truck and was calling on customers at the time) attach a pressurized fuel system cleaner to the intake and fuel rail system and "blow it out". Probably just a fancy Gumout treatement, but I cannot argue with results. As you are in AZ you're a tad far away to recommend out mechanic to you.
Castrol Oil change centers here in Georgia also advertise this service for around $100.00. Didn't pay that much and have saved in fuel expenditures already.
