Has anyone gotten their Kit installed yet? I am curious, something needs to be done quick.

 

Mine is still sitting in the box right now, will be installed on Thursday if all goes as planned. I'll keep you updated as to how the installation and performance is as soon as I get it installed.

 

Yeah I was hoping you would have it in by now, mine aint gonna last mmuch longer! Dont you have a triple clutch converter also? Is it a Suncoast or ATS and how do you like it?

What is a Suncoast Tranny Kit?

 

I've had the TCC for a while now. Its a better unit than stock, but IMO isn't worth the money, as the stock converter is just fine for any reasonable amount of power.


A set of high perf clutch kits for the 5R110 from Suncoast- frictions, steels, pressure plates, and pistons for the Low/Reverse, Forward, Direct drive, Intermediate, and Overdrive packs.

 

BTW, you should strong consider some form of transmission tuning if you continue to use the Edge box, even with the Suncoast clutches. I have some recommendations if you care to contact me in private.

 

How much is the kit?

I know what the kit is, I am waiting for PSD 60L FX4 (a heavy throttle user) to give a report on its performance.

 

I will have it finished next week, I haven't had time for installation, its a fairly long process. I will have a report for you as soon as I get it ready
