Lightbulb Hands Free Cell Phone

After I purchased my 2004 F150, I looked at getting the BlueTooth kit from Ford. After not being able to get any information from my local dealer, or even being able to find out if it worked in the 2004; I contacted my Cell phone dealer (cingular). They recommended I get the Motorolla kit installed, because it has a couple of advantages: it charges the phone and gives you an external antenna. Since I wasn't able to get any information from the dealer, I went ahead and had Cingular install the car kit. My question is, I understand there is a connection on the radio (I have the audiophile) which mutes the radio when you receive a call. Has anyone tried making this connection between the radio and the motorolla car kit?
