Glad you found a tranny shop. Not sure about comparable quotes to include all that you had done, but Im hoping thats a decent bill for all that work.
I hope it would add value, but I doubt it doubled it. Dont even think an '88 is worth $1300.bux - not that you're selling it, tho.
How many clicks were on the truck?
I bought my '88 2years ago..paid $2000. and add to put in $1000. to bring it up to snuff! Its money you have to invest, but never recoup.

thanks t-j ranger, and your right, im not sure the truck is worth it,as it happens it was only supposed to be a clutch, then when it was apart the slave was boarder line and the flywheel was pretty badly dammaged so machining it was not an option as a new one was a $100, so by the time all said and done it cost a little over a grand...yikkes but that did include servicing the tranny/new clutch & and slave, but now it drives like a brand new truck.the truck used to belong to my neighbour and he put a new engine and tranny in it at 150k
so its only done 150, all i have to do now is get another 150 out of it!
thannks for the reply.by the way it has zero rust!
