460 date codes

I am putting a 460 in my 78 f250 and when i pulled the motor out of the donor truck i started looking at the casting numbers. the block has a d1v date code and the heads have a d3v date code. Is it normal to have 2 years difference in the block and heads or is this not stock but somthing that has been put together.

I had the same codes on a motor that came from a 77 Lincoln. It had not been touched.

As mentioned, it is a common configuration.
