Well, being a new member I have no idea what's been done in the past. I'd love to get together over a cocktail or two and talk shop. Shoreline works for me.
Our first meet was at Hubbard Park in Meriden. Six members showed up for the meet. We sat around, talked about trucks, cars, and things. In attendance were Rockledge, Bwamx, LB3711, 67250ranger4x4 and friend, and myself
Our second meet was at Hooters on the Berlin Turnpike. Four members showed up. We talk about trucks, cars, and Hooters girls (but mostly about Hooters girls). In attendance were Rockledge, Bwamx, Towmanjbo, and myself.
Now you are up to speed on our meets. It is my hope that we can have A meet where alot of members show up. I have had a great time at these meets. We have talked about LB3711's Stratus, Rockledge's SHO, Bwamx and myself have AMXs and have been friends for going on 26 years.
Pat, I hope you will join us for our next meet.

Hi guy's. What about something in early spring. I see a bunch of the Ct. guy's have cars that they show. That way everyone could bring there trucks/cars. My '79 is locked up until the sweepers come out in the spring.
Just to throw out a few ideas, I know of a place on Rout 66 in East Hampton called Happy Days (Or Dayze). It's a drive in style 50s kind of a restaurant that caters to old car clubs. Also there's Marty's down on the Westbrook/Madison line.
Just let me know the time and place. I like the idea about us bringing our other wheels, maybe I can patch together my SHO for the occasion. And a 50's type of place sounds just groovy.
And I hope that some more people will show up with their Ford Trucks, too.
OK, so I'll be looking forward to Group Hug # III.
Well, I can't take my beast out before the roads are cleaned. I have a new 438 ci stroker in my 94 Lightning with a BDS 8-71 Blower and 2 King Demon carbs with no ait filters. and that is a bit far for my truck. kinda not a driver, more a racer. I do have a 2003 f-350 work truck though.
