I use Motorcraft spark plugs and usually set the gap at the distance between my wifes car and my truck.

I hate to break the news to you guys, but they don't have gap, they are a special high energy compression spark plug that you can only get through the dealer. They cost about $12000 for a new set. I think the dealer offers remanufactured ones for quite a bit less, or you may be able to buy them used or have someone rebuild them if you old ones aren't too bad. I sure hope they never need replacing on my pickup.

Don't forget to get a new set of points and distributor cap as well, they wear out fast on these trucks

May as well replace the exhaust fortification bearings while you are under the hood.

I got a great deal on 16 (2 per cylinder=95 hp boost) Motorcraft spark plugs in a combo pack with radiator bearings (every 5000 miles) at the Sucker's Swap Meet in Japippsville, PA last weekend. Man, does that turbo scream now!!!

BTW while we are on these other parts does anyone know where I can get colored blinker fluid other than the standard orange, and red? I would like to find some purple blinker fluid. or I heard you can buy universal and add your own color but you have to buy it in bulk, then add your own colors to it.

I just put a EDNS on my Rig, (Exhuast Direct Nitrous System) Gives those peskey gasses an extra boost out the tail pipe!! (can be used in conjunction with sparkplug(s) to allow a flamethrower exhuast!!)- CAUTION!! may set househoul pets a-blase as well as reindeer so use caution .... think safty first!!
