Here's an elightening incident... I'm at the dealer today getting the oil changed at 4200. I asked if I should have the rubber rotated... A big no from two service writers at the same time from behind the counter was the response. Then I asked if they knew how to cure the nibble at 60-70mph. The one guy said we've been trying with other trucks and as of right now there's no cure.. I snap out two printed out copies of the latest TSB's and hand them to this service writer. He takes them over to two other service writers. All three come over and ask where I got them. I said they are all over the internet... Where have these guy's been? I can't believe they were BSing me the way they all acted. Then they asked if they could keep the copies.. I said sure because when I've got 7500 on it I'm going to get serious about this nibble problem figuring rotating the tires will bring it out. It's very slight right now and most times it's not there. The last thing I said to them was I hope by then Ford has this problem figured out..


Has anyone noticed you can't save those TSB's on your computer?? The cure is to open the PFD then mail it to yourself....then save it.. Works perfect..

 

I have a similar story. I have already taken my truck in twice for the vibe and all they have done is rebalance my tires. The service writer says that Ford is working on a fix and to call him back in about a month to see if he has heard anything. To make a long story short I called him over that past two months and he has not heard anything. I take my truck in this past week and ask him if he has heard anything and of course he says no, so I just reach into the console and grab the TSB's I printed and hand them to him. He gives me a shocked look and says well I guess we can try to fix it. I called yesterday and they were waiting on a new driveshaft. Hopefully it will finally be gone.
