No restart on 94 PSD

Replaced the thermostat on my 94 Power Stroke yesterday and finally got it into the proper opperating temp. range. Have also had problems with water in the fuel since we got it last week. We have been draining the filter and changed it once. Anyway, we stopped and got fuel and took her for a spin last night to see if we had made any headway. She ran fine with minimal white smoke for 30 minutes or so of fairly hard driving. I then saw the water in fuel light come on so I pulled over, turned the truck off and drained the filter. This time however the truck would not start. I bled the ststem at the valve on the side of the filter suspecting maybe I had let some air in the system somehow, this produced no results. The batteries were hot and the engine was spinning over normally it just never made the first indication of firing. Any ideas? Also, wait to start light never came back on even after the truck was allowed to cool off for an hour or so.

Thanks
Chad

How much fuel did you drain out of the reservoir? If the WTS light never came back, on check your fuses. It should always come on at least momentarily.

I don't have any kind of manual yet. Anybody know which fuse runs the glow plugs? (1994 f-350 4x4 7.3 PSD) I do have a 30 amp that is blown and instantly blows its replacement when the ignition comes on. I suspect it but don't want to get wrapped around the axle with it until I find out what it does. It could be to the 7 pin plug or something like that, that was cut or otherwise molested by the previous owner. I didn't drain that much fuel from the filter housing. We even refilled the housing because the fuel was maybe 1.5" down from the top (desperation) and bled the system of air again and with the same results.
