Anyone Plow Snow With Their 2004/2005?

I was just wondering if anyone here plows snow with their NEW truck? I don't THINK you are supposed to but there are a lot of things you aren't supposed to do!

Anyone got pictures? Thanks.

Yes you can unless if your truck have a heavy duty package XL (more heavy duty spring rate up front) or something like that.

Not even worth considering. Just ask my brother who plowed for a guy a few years ago. The contractor said he was insured, blah,blah,blah.... Well, the said contractor sold my brother out when he was being sued.(he did have insurance, but sold him out anyhow). So, after this, I would tell ANYONE who would ask me to plow. F U !!!!!Please keep this in mind. Hopefully a few will benefit from this!!!!

If you can't plow snow with a new 150 then I'd say Ford is loosing about half their sales in Mass, NH and Maine right off the bat..not to mention accross the northern part of the whole country. Besides there's Snow Plow Prep option. Heavier springs to carry the plow weight.. That option used to have heavier duty hubs when they had manual hubs..

Beast12,

Living in Alabama, I have no need to plow anything, but I do know that Western has a light-weight plow that can be used on the F150. Info can be had at www.suburbanite.com . I'm not endorsing their product, I just know it exists.

Well, a couple things:

I know you can put a plow on the F150 with the snow plow package, I was just wondering how many people did it.
I plow for my dad (don't have to worry about him selling me out) so I just wanted to see if anyone had a picture of one on a 04/05 model (just curious).

So, anyone?

I have a 2004 f-150 stx s/c 4x4 I bought a curtis sno pro 3000 7'6" heavy duty which weighs 720 lbs the truck does good but I am going to install some sort of help to the front end it drops about 4.5-5" when you raise the plow. curtis makes a home pro 3000 which weighs 320 lbs less if you were not pushing alot of commercial jobs 04-05 150's handle the plows better than the older version 97-04 heritage anyone that may have any idea of a good front end helper i would love to hear it.
