Gday All,
I have a 1978 Ford F350 that I wish to torment.My game plan is as follows:-
1.Convert it to 4x4(Very rare machine here in Aust)
2.Swap in a 7.3 IDI Turbo Diesel/Beefed-up C6/twin transfer cases
3.Perform a brake up grade?
Where abouts in the U.S.A/Canada do I start looking for a drivetrain and diesel engine please?Or maybe even a complete truck to ship back home.
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated

It is a site to search for recycled parts all over the US. I have used it to buy alot of stuff, including a rear axle and a transmission.

Start with the the classifieds on this sight. There are a lot of good parts and trucks listed. Also try Ebay, sometimes you can get the right complete truck for a good price.

While the conversion to 4x4 can be done, it is a lot of work. You may be better off finding a complete 4x4 and using parts from the truck you already have. Good luck!
