thats cool...i like how that looks...how did u get them off...will a hair dryer get the glue warm enough to get it off...are they just glued on or do they snap on as well...thanks for the info
I acetoned my emblems on the truck i just taped and used plastic around the emblem to cover the paint. I used a toothbrush and some Qtips
Greenmachine sorry for hijacking your thread.
I acetoned new badges add put them on. New badges were only $17.85 ea from the dealer. I also acetoned the V10 badge, but decided I liked it better without the badge. It does have the V10 decal on the cowl hood. I got the badges off with a hair dryer. Heat them up and off they come.
Hey, when I bought my truck, my salesmen said the badges were bolted on!!???? Id like to take them all off except the one on the doors that says power stroke .......whats up with that????
You believed the salesman?! I made that mistake too... cost me about $1000 extra that I had no reason to pay.... anyway, no one ever answered the guy's question about the rough country leveling kit? Anyone?
I believe you will need a bumper extension in order to clear 35's with just a leveling kit.
I have a leveling kit and can only clear 33's. You will need to either lift if four inches or push the bumper out a bit. The bumper will then sit out about as far as your bumper would if you had the Warn kit that puts a winch behind your original bumper.
i have that same setup currently on my 03 f250 psd. i have 35 bfg at's on the factory wheels. overall im pretty satisfied with the kit. the tires do not rub on anything even when in full lock. hope this helps.
