'61 Econoline window van seal
Hi, I'm just new here and have noticed a lot of people with a lot of information on different things. I'm hoping that somebody out there can give me some really needed info. on weatherstripping/window seals. I have a '61 Econoline window van that has opening windows on the cargo doors and also on the opposite side of the van. Each of the opening windows has a metal frame around it. Each metal frame has a groove to which a rubber (wiper?) seal is inserted. Where would I get the rubber seal that fits into this metal frame that surrounds each of these opening windows? It measures approximately 3/4" long and has a small head about 1/8" thick which fits into this groove. This is not the seal that fits between the window frame and the body. The seal that I require does not fit anywhere on the body itself. If you removed the window, the seal comes with it because of it being attached to this frame.
Whew! I hope I've explained it well enough for a reply.

you explained it very well, but you are out of luck. the seals and gaskets for the pop out windows are not manufactered by anyone. best you could do is go to the hardware store and try some weather stripping from a door swipe, [goes on the bottom of the door], in the groove. they are designed the same way, i just dont know if they will work.
