Lower control arms install help
Hey everyone,
I can't seem to get my lower front control arms in. It is a 79 Ford Ranchero, and i had the energy suspension polyurethane bushings installed. It is very tight. It looks like its barely too long. I was told not to cut any off and to just grease it up and squeeze it in. But all it does is keep slipping out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to install these? Someone suggested using a jack, but i couldn't get it to work. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
Danny

Ok guys, heres some pictures to show you guys so maybe you can get an idea. Here's the arm
Now one side is flush with the metal bushing inside, but this side's depth looks a little deep:
And when i go to install it, it looks like this:
It looks like the extra width is about the width of one of those plates welded on. Does anyone see that it looks like its too long? I just don't know what to do. Thanks for any help you guys can give!
