10,000 miles

Bought the truck July 1 and just rolled past the 10k mark. Thought I'd give a brief rundown of my impressions.
04 F150 Supercrew. 5.4.
Autospring 1.5 leveling Kit
Ride Rite helper air bags in the rear
352/60R18 Toyo A/Ts
Superchips tuner

Never really felt 100% pleased with the truck until I had done everything listed above. Now it's what I expected it to be. The increased ride height helps off road (though I buried the thing in 2 feet of snow last week--had to use the HiLift jack to lift and push over both the front and rear of the truck).

Superchips tuner helps a bunch with towing a 2-place snowmobile trailer. I feel better when passing especially. The air bags in the rear keep the tail from sagging at all with an ATV in the bed or a heavy trailer on the hitch. Improves ride quality at freeway speeds, too, and with 20 psi empty, softens up the rear-end jitters around town. Plus, they put the back end up above the nose, which makes the truck look better in my opinion.

The tires are decent, but too wide for snow. Tire size selection was limited, so I went with what was the best option at the time.

I haven't had any vibrations or major problems so far. Routine oil changes and one service to fix the brakes from pulling to the right.

Mileage is around 13.5 city empty and around 16.5 empty highway with the Superchips. Towing, I get around 9 mpg.

I'll probably drive this truck for another year or more. I'll consider another F150, especially if the Hurricane engine becomes a reality.

the ride rite air bags sound interesting. Did you install them yourself. did you also get the compressor or just manual fill. I can't see exactly from the website, are the bags in addition to the coil springs? I'd like to get rid of the rear end jitters.
