Wind noise in Extended Cab !

I had the same problem with my 02 f250 . While it was in the bodyshop getting the rear fender fixed from an S.O.B. hit and run on it, I asked the body shop owner about it. He said it is a common thing to have wind noise. The fix is simple to do, but some might find it a difficult thing. Roll down window, place board in open door and bend window frame against it until door fits tight to gasket. The correct adjustment should have a slight drag with a dollar bill used as a test gauge. It's really easier than it sounds to bend, better if it's on somebody elses truck! My truck was terrible to drive at highway speeds, radio almost would not drown out the wind noise, now it's a lot better. Body man said you should see
what they have to do with a replacement door to get it to seal.
don't forget to roll window down , or thats another story.
