4.6 Grand Marquis?
I got a buddy who drives a 93 Mercury Grand Marquis and in the summer when it got fairly hot outside if you were to drive the car for an extended period of time the car would stall, but it wouldn't shut off, but when you put your foot down on the gas pedal the car wouldn't do anything, wouldn't even rev up talk about weird. Let the car sit for about 15 minutes or so and you would be home free, weird the only codes being thrown is a 332 egr code... What could cause this problem, would a bad tps sensor be the culprit, I would think it would be the TFI module, but the car is still are and never does shut off when this problem occurs???

It doesn't have a TFI module. It uses DIS with coil packs.
I wonder if it is a vapor lock problem. I would try to check fuel pressure whenit is acting up. Usually, a TPS sensor just gets a dead spot in it. It will only stumble when it hits a certain spot. I have never seen one completely fail and if it did, I'd doubt that it would start working again.
