How rare is a Explorer F-150?
Hey, y'all!
I have a 1975 F150 Explorer 2wd with the original 390 4 barrel FE V8 and C-6 automatic. It has it's original 9 inch rear with 3.00 gears in it.
It's all rust free!
The stripes on the truck are very wide on the hood and they get smaller when they go all the way to the tailgate. I have also seen the other version that had the stripes follow the outlines of the wheelwells. My truck is orange with black stripes. The stripes look like they came off a '70 Boss 302.
So how rare was a Explorer equipped like mine? Also, could you please give me any history on the Explorer trim package as I have been trying to find info but with no luck!
Thanks, guys!

my 76 F-150 explorer came with a 360 2bbl c6 3.00 gears,a/c, running boards, and no trim except the F-150 badge and the explorer badge on the rear fender, my glove box has custom on it, but i dont know what difference that makes......when i got the truck in 2000 it had 68,500 original on it,spark plug wires had 1976 on 'em, im the 3rd owner...i like it without trim, its kinda cleaner lookin IMO.......
