stopping power

turboin and superchargin is all good and stuff.... but what about your vaccume lines that are connected to your thottlebody... brakes dont work to good under boost when they need vaccume..
do you just install a vaccume pump or what... i read how all these kits are wonderfull but i see nothing about computer upgrades or anything to do with brakes.

Yep, drive with your right foot. When you want to stop, remove it from the gas pedal and place it on the brake pedal. Push down. With your foot off the gas, intake manifold vacuum builds very quickly. This runs the brake booster and gets you stopped. When you're on the gas, the brake booster couldn't care less what vacuum or pressure it's presented with.

I think there is a check valve in there too that keeps reserve vacuum in the booster.

I foot brake my truck to load up the converter at the track and I see about 2 psi @ 1800 rpms and it doesn't roll foward.

No, that is how I used to do burnouts to heat up the slicks. I use a line lock now and I'm very please with it.
