96 F 250 Front Axle ?
I Have A 1996 F 250 4x4, I Replaced The Auto Locking Hubs With Warn Premium Locking Hubs, What Ive Noticed Recently Is When I Make A Turn The Front Axle Spins Momentarily, The Front Drive Shaft Moves Like An Eighth Or Less Of A Turn, Even With The Truck Running And In Park When Truning The Wheel For Testing. Additionally When Slowing To A Stop It Feels Like The Shafts Are M0ving, Its An Intermittant Problem. THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE WORKS FINE, THOUGH NOT OFTEN, ONLY IN THE SNOW. IVE MOVED THE AXLE BY SPINNING IT BY HAND THE DRIVE SHAFT DOES NOT MOVE WHEN SPINNING THE AXLE. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS

I did the same conversion on a '95 F-250 last year. Installation of the Warn manual hubs requires that the original wheel bearing lock clip and lock nut are removed and replaced with a conversion kit.
After the kit is installed, and the Warn hubs are fitted up, the installation instructions require that proper end clearance is verified before calling the installation good. Insufficient clearance could cause a hub to stay engaged.
If everything was installed properly, I would check that the hubs work properly by putting the front end on jackstands so that each wheel can be turned by hand. With the transfer case disengaged, lock one hub and spin the tire by hand. Check that the front axle turns with the hub locked. Unlock the hub, spin the tire and verify that the axle does not turn. If the axle turns, the hub is not disengaging.
Repeat the process for the other side of the truck. If either hub stays engaged it will be necessary to disassemble that hub to check things out.

Thanks Lou, Ive Tried Everything, The Test You Said, Ogne As Far As To Color The Drive Shaft And U Joints On The End Of The Axle To See When They Move, Any Other Ideas, The Hubs Seem To Work Fine THIS SEEMS TO BE A NEW OR PREVIOUSLY UNDETECTED PROBLEM
