Okay, so Christmas is coming up, and I thought that I would be the coolest girlfriend ever if I got my boyfriend this new set of door hinges he's looking for for his Ford F150. They make the doors open like a Ferrari's. (ie, instead of swinging out like normal doors, they swing up) I have had no luck looking around on the internet to find what he wants; they're replacement bolt/hinge set is supposed to cost around $300. He's talked about it before, but thinks that I am completely against it...it's going to be a big surprise. Clearly I can't ask him, so if anyone would have some information to help me, I would me very appreciative.

 

the lambo door kit is what you are looking for. i ahve only seen one direct bolt on kit and the kit cost over $1000. the site is www.verticledoors.com. not you can get a kit that you ahve to weld on and cut on the truck for around $300 maybe. there is a kit made by auto loc they might have a website. i have seen the kit for sale on www.stylinconcepts.com. if you need any further help i would suggest picking up a copy of truckin' magazine. they are filled with info and companies that sell stuff like that.

 

The $300 kit you're talking about might be for a Suicide Door Kit. Those swing the opposite way, but not up. The Lambo Kit,when door dwings up, costs over $1000 like Decked said.
