bed rail protectors

i would like to get diamond plate bed rails for my 84 f250 long bed, but every magazine i look at only starts around 87-88.
can i fit an 87 or 88 protector on my 84 bed?
i know of the bed rail protectors in jc whitney and summit, where else can i find some?

If you have a NAPA or Advance/Discount Auto Parts nearby they can order them for you. The ones I found were made by DEE ZEE and had to be ordered but came within 2 days.

thanks, i looked on advanced auto parts website and the DEE ZEE ones were $125

maybe i can buy them direct.

How about a 1979 Long bed? DeeZee does not make them for it. Any other makers anyone can think of here?

Being a rare find, after saying that, if you search and search you can find good deals on Dee Zee stuff. Granted I have a 03' Super Duty, I got bed rail caps with stake pockets for 79$ and full front protector and rull rear protector for $99 each. Hope you have luck with a truck of that vintage.

I hae had the Dee Zee ones for two years and they still look brand new. Thier use a powder coated clear finish. Super durable. No dulling what so ever.
