Ive got a 1987 Ford F-250, with a 460, when my truck is warming up, is has a White, kind of creamy color of smoke, after it gets warmed up it dissapears, rigth now it is about 20 degrees outside, and after it warms up, it has a steamy look to it, but when it is warm and my truck warms up, it dissapears. My mechanic said it could be my catalytic converter, but it is a Non-Catalyst, and i think it is the carburetor, any help would be appreciated.
Do mean that the air is cold outside? Cause if so then it would cause it to do that. I think it's just condensation. Almost every vehicle does this. Where the hot air meets cold and presto white steam.
ya, but even in the hot weather, when it was almost 90 degrees outside, it would do the same thing, it started appearing after i got my choke redone on my carb, which was about the beginning of august.
also, when i start it cold, it runs a little rough, and when i step on the gas, it kinda hesitates, then goes, gotta be somthin, cuz it always acts weird when its cold
