Question do shocks come with the rancho 4" lift?

do the rs9000 shocks come with the kit or do i have to order seperate? if they dont do i need them or will the stock work? does rancho provide you with everything to complete the lift or do i need to purchase additional parts? any info would be great. thanks

The shocks do not come with the kit. No you can not use the stock shocks because the length is different. Rancho provides everything in the lift kit that is necessary (except shocks). I had the lift professionally installed. I would have attempted it myself, but I didn't have the specialty tools required.

You can buy them packaged. Try here:

It's good for info if nothing else.

Rancho 2004+ 4wd F150 4" Lift Kit
Kit Features:
Rancho’s heavy duty extended cast ductile iron steering knuckle maintains optimal steering geometry and allows for precision alignment. Steering integrity is uncompromised by maintaining the stock location of the factory rack and pinion steering. Combined these features improve handling and eliminate bump steer. Rancho's exclusive “high clearance one-piece sub-frame” adds superior strength and stability to the vehicle and also precisely relocates the lower control arms and differential. The positioning of the differential is calibrated to correct both CV and drivetrain angles. This ensures a vibration free ride and protects components against premature wear. This system also allows for the use of the stock wheels and accommodates fitment of 35” tires. No drivetrain or exhaust modifications are necessary making this a complete bolt on system. The rear height is set to what Rancho considers the perfect level with new rear spacer blocks with integrated bump stop pads.
To accompany the industry’s finest suspension system one needs the industry finest and most proven adjustable shock absorber. Available are front (Spring Seat) and rear RS9000X shock absorbers. The Rancho 9000 has an advanced nine-position adjustable design that allows owners of Rancho equipped F150’s the ability to manually or remotely (from the cab) tune the damping to match a vast range of performance situations. The All NEW RS9000X Spring Seat Shock has a fixed spring seat specifically designed for Rancho’s F-150 suspension system. Front and rear Rancho 9000X shocks are included in the kit price!
