It's time we had our next meeting to elect our leader and set chapter guide lines. Since there hasn't been a large amount of feedback I propose December 12, 2004 at 11:00am in Asbury Park. Someone from that area will need to secure a medium to large eating establishment with a good size parking lot. Contact me with information. Meet and greet will be in the parking lot one hour prior to the start of the meeting. Items to be discussed and voted upon are election of chapter leader and alternate, various meeting location, chapter rules and guidelines (bring ideas with you on paper), national FTE events, local events. I will type an agenda to start the meeting and then turn over to our new leader. Send ideas and questions to me via email, and I will include them in the agenda. The time and date of the meeting is open and subject to an available site. All ideas and comments for meeting time and location are welcome.
Looks like I should be able to go... however I'm not familiar with the area... I'd also need directions from the Garden State Parkway heading south.
I might not be driving FrankenFord however... unless the rain stops so I can put the engine back in. Its hanging under the hood on a crane, I just don't feel like getting wet
To all; Judging by the amount people that have viewed the request for the next meeting and have and have not responded to it, tells me that proximity to the Holidays seems to be curtailing the enthusiasm for which we need to get this Chapter going foward. I perpose Jan. 16 as an alternate date if that is not too much trouble.
If it was still on the 12th please someone post. I have myself and 1 other person I'd be driving if it is. Asbury Park would also be ok for the place, kinda right in the middle of NJ.
since I myself i'm not from Asbury park and have not seen any updates on the actual meeting place in Asbury I only purposed an alternate date. As Kevin had asked for input on a location large enough for all those willing to come.
Sorry, I have not visited this site in a few weeks.
I would be up for the meet if it is still being held this weekend.
January 16th might or not work for me I have to check.
Any up date on the DEC 12th date is appreciated.
