Need info on front lift

I've got an '04 XLT SCAB 4WD (3500 miles) and am considering the front-end lift to level the truck; what is involved in this and how much is it going to cost me (I'd probably have it done at a garage as opposed to destroying my vehicle in my garage with no hopes of ever reconstructing it to a working condition).

Also, a different topic than the thread title, but what aftermarket tires will fit on the standard chromed steel rims? I've searched for the 255/70R17 tires and have found maybe two (!!) tires in that size...

First, you should use the search function for 'Daystar'. It is the most popular, and I know costs have been discussed too.

For the tires, I dont know. You might have better luck posting that as a seperate question (ala F150 forum announcements) in the Tire forum.

Thanks for the Daystar info; any suggestions on the install (dealer, aftermarket 4WD shop, Firestone, etc.)?
