79 F150 4x4 Ignition wiring

in my 79 f150 I need to find a wiring diagram for the igniton system. I was also wondering if anyone knows how to test the ignition modules. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It originally had a 300 I6 in it.

Most any parts stores will test the ignition module for free.

I installed a new module anyway, cuz they always go bad. I put it on, ran for a couple of days. Now today it died without spark at work today. I ran all new wiringfor the ignition system from the module to the distributor and coil. The wires were getting pretty old do I needed to do it anyway. Still nothing, and the coil is good. There is power to the module. I think it went out again. No parts stores around here can test them. And we have almost have every parts but none say they can test them. Oh yea, I tested the wire to the oil pressure sender and it was pulseing. Wierd, the gauge worked though.

That's normal. The guages are fed by a voltage regulator that pulses the voltage.

the coil is good
Do you have power to the + of the coil with the key on?

Do you have pulsing power on the - of the coil when you crank the engine?
