Blinded by the light (or lack there of)

Hello. My wifes 1993 Taurus wagon has just blown out both headlights this evening.May not have bothered me to much if I had'nt just replaced both of them last night!!And the ones that blew out last night were only 5 months old! She does very little night time driving and never use them during the day unless it's wet or foggy. The car is reconstructed due to a Flood (Thought I'd try my hand as a submarine commander) 2 years ago.Is it possible that after all this time there is still water in the electrical system somewhere causing problems now or is it something more?I ca'nt get rid of the car because It still looks new in and out and I just put on $400.00 worth of Goodyears on it and just replaced the headgaskets, besides it is the only station wagon we've ever owned that will smoke the tires(SEE $400.00 GOODYEARS) and outrun some cameros.Any ideas on the lights?
