If you'd been able to get ahold of me, I could have been there in 20-30 minutes, Roger. I was in Pleasantville and stayed the night. Actually I was in Hartford for a bit, even closer.
Why'd you have to disassemble the trailer brakes for?
the lining separated from the shoe, efectively applying the brake, heating the tire and hub, eventually blowing the tire. After I blew the tire a second time, I fugured it had to be something, and sure enough, the hub was warm. I didn't have a decent jack, and Flying J doesn't have them, so I took my chances and headed over to the Super Wally over to Altoona, got one, and found the lining when I pulled the drum. Another example why I don't like glued on crap in critical locations... Just ask me about quad 4's sometime and glued on crap...
