Well, after breaking down in June and a long protracted period driving my ancient Volvo 240 I am back to driving my F150. I have only driven it from work in Miami to my house in Homestead but it felt good. I am going to take it out for a spin today and see how it works out.

 

OK, took the truck on a drive up to the Melbourne gun show. I made it about as far as Palm Beach when I noticed a little pool of oil every time I stopped. I turned right around and went back to Homestead where the truck has sat since Friday. Now I get to sort out why the new/rebuilt transmission is leaking. I am getting sick of this real quick!

 

New rear transmission seal went in Friday afternoon. I drove it to Homestead from work in Miami and I see no leaks so maybe I have a working truck after all of this! Keeping my fingers crossed!
