Does it seem that Titan owners are bitter?

Ford F150 owners seem very loyal but the Titan owners seem to be bitter?
Why do you think this is??

Why make such a rediculous statment? Why would they be biter? Not bashing the ford but the titan does many things better than the f150. The 150 does some things better than the titan also. They both seem like prety close contenders with the exception of the powertrain department. Somone said on another thred that you pay for quality and because you can get a comparable titan for less than a 150 they must use cheap components throughout. The titan powertrain uses nothing but the best components.

Ad: Not true. I view Titan owners very bitter. Why would they come to a Ford Site and try to validate there purchase. I see them in this forum all the time, it would probably be better for them to consult Titan owners on there issues. Its comical at the most.

OK ... last Titan vs Ford thread got closed because of getting out of control. Let's not bait each other and get flame wars going again. This, "My dad's tougher than your dad." type stuff isn't in the spirit of FTE nor this forum. Only the FACTS. If anyone wants to enter verifiable facts thats fine. Blanket statements ... "my car has better parts than yours" doesn't mean a thing and only adds, in my opinion, fuel to a fire that doesn't need to be started.

I made that statement because Titan trolls keep getting rational threads shut down.
1/2 ton pickups are just that. Meant to be light duty pickups.
Tow ratings in excess of 6,000 pounds on a half ton are ridiculous.
If you need to tow more than #6,000 on a regular basis get a Super Duty!!

Ford builds the three different pickups in the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4-1ton line for a reason.
Buy the one that fits your needs. If the F150 rides and drives too nice for your taste than step up to a 3/4 or 1 ton.
If Neason has to compromise with an in between rig and then wants to pretend it can do it all, Fuel Mileage, power, Ride, Stopping, Towing power, Longevity, then the guys who want to buy one shouldn't try to convince satisfied Ford owners on the FTE site, that when they see one on the road, not to make jokes.

Best thing we as Ford owners can do is buy a membership to FTE and get that blue rectangle next to your screen name. Helps pay for operating this site and gives credibility to your presence, IMO.

I'd rather save the bandwidth to discuss Fords instead of feeding trolls. Keep ignoring them and they'll go away eventually! No need to "bring 'em on".

Don, that is exacly what I want for Christmas, to be a supporter of FTE in the way of a Diablo Tuner.
Maybe if i quit bating trolls Santa will bring me one.
Time is running out. Maybe I should post a poll.
I wonder if Santa is on FTE??
I wonder if his other sleigh is a Ford?

Just to let you know...I wasn't personally attacking you for the thread. And if you took it that way, I humbly apologize. I too am disgusted when trolls come here only to start trouble and get flame wars going. I think the best thing any of us can do is use the report post feature and admin will make a decision on if the thread needs to keep on going. If someone gets designated as being here as a troll only, usually admin will write them a nice little email. If the act isn't cleaned up, then they get a vacation...sometimes permanent. I'd much rather see non Ford people get vacations than any of us who are here because we truly love our Fords.

Happy Thanksgiving you guys.

I don't think that all of them are bitter. "Armada" seems like a nice guy as well as a few others. But there are definitely a couple members that just post the same imflammatory opinions with no facts repeatedly on different threads. They know who they are, and so do we.

I would sell my SOUL if it would give me the free time to go to some Titan site and just troll, stirring up trouble....... Some people have the life, don't they?

As some of tou know, I once owned a Titan and was just recently banned from Titantalk for instigating a damn war over there. I did not intend on doing this...started out that I was just giving a review of my new 150 fx4 vs. my old Titan. It was actually a very non-biased review, but slowly/surely the members over there got pretty damn nasty and I could not help myself. To answer your question, most Titan owners are pretty cool over there but there are a few on the board who generally seem ****ed off at the fact that they bought the Titan and take it out on people like me, who jumped ship and could afford to do so. It's all good...they (most of them) will enjoy their trucks, I will enjoy mine!

Ummm we are here because we were going to get a F150 before the Titan. Instead we saw a value for the money and got the Titan. I needed the bigger engine, and for me to get that in the F150, I needed the Lariat pretty much. But we don't like misinformation spread around either, so we try to correct you, but 90% of the time you don't want to hear it because YOU think your right when your not.
