it doesn't take up the whole wall, so gottat go bigger!! I had one a while back, keeping up the maintenance is the part that sucks. I have managed to kill every fish I ever had. Last time I was doing pretty good, but the house fire boiled them.

its a 55 gal. i always seem to sell off my fish, my old oscars got as big as footballs in my last tank, it was a 150 gallon. decided to go a little smaller this time. yeah the upkeep is a bear sometimes, water changes used to suck lol. but now i got a 2 power filters so i can only hange 1 time a month as long as i keep the ph regula in the tank. this tank going to only hold 4 fish, two tiger oscars and 2 angels. that and guppies for them to eat shouldnt be too time consuming

yep that will work ours is only a 20 gal. I don't have to much problem with killing the fish he won't die, have had a red bellied parana in that tank for 3 yrs (was over 1yr old when he was givin to us), and they told us they only live about 1 yr in captivity always wanted to get a tank like that for him but he's huge now can't imagine how big he would have ended up in that thing.
We only ask for advice if we already know the answer but wish we didn't
I've got a 36 gal tank - my wfe take care of it for the most part now - 2 Angels and few other oddball fish. NO OSCARS - they're cool fish - can get 'em to eat from your hand, but they are messy as pigs. Our tank looked like the Mississippi. Had a 12" Oscar and two 14" - 16" Plecostumus (and a 8" feeder golfish that didn't get eaten) They got deseased while we were on vacation - (Took the Sport Trac to Glacier National Park).
After them I got rid of the undergravel filter system and rock and put a fake rock wall for a lizard cage in the bottom instead - and a stronger filter - lots cleaner.
I'm nothing more than words on your monitor.
