Pistons and rods

im wondering what style pistons every one uses on there 351w. Im looking at the TRW flattops 1.772c/h p/n h336p but they have the dished pistons L2378F im not sure what to go with I use flattops on my FE builds but im not sure about the windsors. Also what is the rod length and deck height for a 92 351w? Im trying to figure out my CR for my build.

rod length 5.9545-5.9575
deck height varies with the pistons chosen but is typically -.10 to -.12

Rods are 5.956 and deck height is 9.5.

With the 1.772 c/h piston that put them about .022 in the hole.

I can't remember what the combustion chamber is on the E7's (anybody?).
Assuming -4cc valve relief's and 62cc chambers, stock bore with a .041 head gasket (stock replacement) they put you about 10.07:1 with a .063 quench. While the quench is typical for stock, this won't work with the compression with pump gas without a good sized cam and VERY conservitive timing curve.

What is the dish volume on the L2378F?

Okay, same motor except with the 64cc chambers - 9.84:1, but with the same quench of course.

ASSUMING 16cc dish, again same motor, lowers it to 8.71:1.

Have the block zero decked and use the 16cc dish------9.1:1
