Hello fellow O.C. brethren. First, somewhat of an introduction.
While I've not posted a lot in the forums, I've put many miles on just reading and visiting the site. I was an FTE member years ago, maybe a year or two after Ken started this site and things were WAY different then.
After viewing MANY-a-thread asking about the new O.C. logo, I decided to try my hand at it and, with approval from our chapter leader, I've uploaded it to my gallery.
This may or may not be the final "new" logo (honestly, I didn't even know we had an old one). It depends on the general concensus of the group. The logo should not be ONLY my ideas (unless they happen to conform to most of the group). I tried to capture what "I" thought most of the group would find acceptable.
PLEASE take a minute and view the "new", proposed Ohio Chapter/FTE logo in my gallery. I am open to criticism, so long as it's honest and constructive. You may post here in this thread, or PM me if necessary.
Guy's Randy Pm'ed me a few weeks ago asking about the Logo and asked if he could try his hand at it, which was fine by me, this was before our last cincy meeting, he was the one I mentioned when we was discussing getting a logo......so please give your thoughts on this, I will reserve my comments for the time being.Neo have gotten any where with your design? Just so everyone knows we can have several approved designs in the chapter store but only one will be the offical Ohio logo. as for our Ky member rewegh, randy said he would be willing to design one for Kentucky, or if you want a combined logo lets us know..I will leave this up to you,..I don't want to step on any toes here, or offend any one.
Okay lets hear your thoughts...
On edit: Dang your quick Nick, it must be that truck of yours.

thanks Rollie ,
We think alike but i can't comment on it....opps...Dang it...
Sounds good , and we will keep this going till say...next monday? then have a quick poll..and get it to FTE for approval to be put in the store so that that things can be ordered in time for X-mas ...
I'd like to suggest that we offer shirts/jackets for us 'big guys' in the 3XLT and 4XLT sizes (56-58" chest, tall). Even if those sizes cost a few dollars more, I'd happily pay it!

I just finished finals on thursday then had to go back home this weekend to buy a truck. So don't worry about offending me buy saying you like it. Heck I like it and I'm not just saying that to save myself work. Although It will give me more time to play with my new truck.
As for shirt sizes I just hope we can get them in medium. I have no trouble finding really good shirts in the larger sizes but try to find a good shirt, espcialy at a wester store that is smaller than XL is dang near impossible. I dont' know if it is because I am the average size and they sell out or becuase I'm a smaller guy that likes cloths that fit and arn't baggy.
Dang! That does look good. I like that one a lot. I'm not to sure about taking the time to add Kentucky to that. If work could calm down a bit, I would start emailing some kentucky people to see about creating a chapter.
I agree about the big guy sizes.

I'm jealous. That's an awesome logo. Makes my efforts look pathetic. But then again...we were first looking at the cost of screen printing and didn't want to go with a lot of colors. Then I found the store and that makes printing shirts out a lot cheaper and easier. Hmmm... Food for thought. Great job.

Good job Randy! Can I (we) see one where the Ohio flag isn't warped, but the normal shape with the flag waving and the tip through the "O" in Ohio? I'm just curious to see what that looks like if it's not a lot of trouble.
