2.3l oil pan gasket

1989 2.3l. when the engine got to around 150,000 mile the oil pressure dropped off. come to find out the oil pan gasket was plugging up the oil pump pickup.now at 253,000 miles the oil pressure is dropping off. and the same thing is happening. the oil pan is leaking like last time. the last i replaced the oil pump, pickup. drive shaft, and gasket. the gasket is a rubber type that fits into a machined groove in the pan. it is a one piece design.is there a known fix for this so this is the last time i have to do this.after the first time i replaced everything the oil pressure was great and has been until recently. thanks for any help
