What is a Factory Highboy?
I bought a 1976 F150 the other day. It's a 4X4, 4 speed. Right now it has 7.50 R16LT tires on it. The tires look to small for the truck. From the top of the front tires to the fenders is 5 inches and it's 7 inches on the back. This truck would look great with some bigger tires on it. What would ya'll suggest. I'm gonna start working on it. It has a 390 in it and is a strong runner. Thanks.

If it has a 428 it would be a swap, same with the 429. I really, really doubt its a 428, but its possible. Just be sure so that you don't get screwed since the FE's all the look the same externally. Pull the codes and most importantly check the stroke.
Oh, and the best way to determine if its a highBOY is to look under the rear axle and see if it has these:
