The Turkey Run at Daytona speedway Thanksgiving weekend is a huge car show and swap meet. I am new to the classic car scene, my '66 F100 can be seen in the gallerie, so I have never attended one before. The show runs Thursday- Sunday, 8am-4pm,and the admission is $10 per day. We (me, wife, kid) were there 7 years ago. Stopped in Daytona a day or two for me to harken back to my days as a child and family summer trips to Daytona Beach. We were going to spend a week at Disney World so I detoured thru Daytona Beach.
I did not know the Turkey Run was going on until we got there.
WOW! It was great. So many cars and trucks. They were EVERYWHERE.
It really made for an even more memorable trip.
I'd love to go back one day.
