Dana 24 Transfer Cases

Anyone know of a transfer case to use to replace a dana 24 on a 71 ford f250. I have the 24 on it now but finding a speedometer is a pain in the rear none seems to carry it becuase its a metal 21 tooth gear. So i figured i would replace the transfer case to one that is more common in the 4x4 world with parts the are more common. Any suggestions are welcome.. There is a thread in this forum that has a picture of my speedo gear if anyone knows where i can find one of these.

Thanks
Chris

I don't know about the speedo gear, sorry. If you decide you want to change the transfer case, an NP205 iron-case gear-driven part-timer is about the strongest and most reliable t-case availaible for pickup trucks and should be easy to find parts for since it was used in so many brands and models of trucks during the '70's and '80's and can be adapted to most transmissions too.
