pressure release sound from under drivers side
I have a new 04 F350 with only 2300 miles on it. Every once in awhile, i will get a sound coming from under the driver side of the vehicle engine compartment that sounds like back pressure being released. It happens when i am up around 2000 or more rpms and let off of the accelerator. I am gonna take the truck into the shop the first of next week just to get it checked but thought i would ask here first. It only happens when i am above 2000 rpms though. Any input is greatful thanks guys

Speaking of physics, lets take a look:
Energy = 1/2 x Mass x Velocity^2
With mass in slugs and velocity in feet per second.
Lets compare an Expedition weighing 8000 pounds traveling at 70 MPH to a 180 grain bullet traveling at 2500 feet per second.
Engergy of the Expedition.....1,310,430 ft-lbs
Energy of sniper Bullet...............2,498 ft-lbs
Or the expedition has 525 times the energy of a sniper bullet
Now to calculate the force each "projectile" has on impact we need to use the following formula:
F = MV/T
If the X stops in 1/2 second upon impact and the bullet stops in 0.0005 seconds upon impact (assuming 12 inches of penetration into a "medium") we have:
Force of the X........25,528 pounds
Force of bullet........ 3,996 pounds
Or the X imparts 6.39 more force upon impact than a bullet would.
Ain't physics grand?

cause after having 8 new injectors at 26k and never getting fuelmilage over 12 mpg again loaded or unloaded, i finally got ****ed off. Chevy had my truck for almost 2 weeks doing injectors, and after i get new ones i still have a loss of power and bad milage, so i dupmed it and got something i don;t have to worry about as much. The ford is alot stronger in my opinion. I pull a 7 ton trailer and it does great.
