The starter is working, but the engine won't fire. This happened before while on a long road trip. I stopped to get gas and it wouldn't start. I figured I had vapor lock so I let it cool and it started. Well, I got in it today and it did the same thing, only it hadn't been driven in a day or so. Any ideas? It's the V6.
Found out that there is no spark. Any ideas from here? I'm on my way to get some new plugs. Any ideas on where I should go if this doesn't solve the problem?
The usual suspect is almost always the ignition coil or the distributor. Take it apart and see if it's fried. I'll try to think of some more ideas for you. -Kevin
Pulled the distributor cap and found a lot of oxidation throughout. Cleaned them off with some sand paper and she started right up. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good value distributor cap.
