What is a Nite?

Kinda uninformed, but just what is a Nite? I have never heard or seen of one. I'm assuming it is similar to the Lightning and HD. Is it a forced induction sport truck or what?

An appearance - blackout grille/bumpers/paint/chrome - basically everything black with blue/purple stripe kit...I think that's about it. Pretty sharp to some...tacky to others. Offered back in late 80's early 90's if memory serves me correctly.

So it was essentially a body package on the F-150? Did it have any powertrain options that were unique?

Not that I'm aware of...maybe someone else is more familiar with it but I believe it was strictly an appearance group.

The Nite package was also a Bronco option.

Strictly body and interior. Interior amenities were leather, "Nite" floormats, and plastic trim with "Nite" on it. As with other options such as a LS in the back. Although my Bronco came from the Factory with 31x10.50's. (Versus 235's)
