lifting my ranger

hello everyone this is my first post and question.i recently purchased a 2000 ranger xlt 3 litre engine-auto tranny.when i bought it the dealer said it has a towing package installed it does sit a little higher in the rear.i would like to know if it is possibble to lift the truck about 6 inches.my main concern is getting the front lifted.even though it isnt 4 wheel drive i need more clearance because i do a lot of fishing and camping.any comments or answers would be great.FORD RULES.thank you.chefmcgoo.
