Hi there, Six ! I'm fairly new here myself but not new to tinkering on old trucks. Got my first 56 back in '70 and haven't turned back. Be glad to help you thru the process whenever I can and you can count on the rest of the fellas, too.

All I can say is...don't desecrate the beautiful old Fords with any chevy parts..... ANYTHING you want to do CAN be done with Ford parts, and not only keep it pure, but more reliable! I seriously hate seeing an old F1 with a chevy 350 in it, or any other chevy motor for that matter....it disgusts me. Someone mentioned they could convert my 69 F100 to electronic ignition using chevy parts....I told them where to go! I did it using aftermarket parts for the same job, rather than using ANY chevy part. Remember all, GM= God's Mistakes!(sorry if I offended anyone religious, come from a religious background myself)

Nice drag car btw...what's under the hood? It has the start to a great beginning for sure!
