Hell,my ABS is really off. Back only locks,front doesnt. Then if you apply a little too much pressure,wheel lock. ABS light doesnt comeon. Front doesnt lock either. Just keeps rollin. It's scarry knowing if I gotta stop hard,only my rear wheels will stop me and this is my only car and daily driver.
My E-Brake warning light comes on when I try to crank it,but on the "On" position,Its off. And ABS light lights up on Ignition "On" Position,then shut off as I go to crank.

What year, model is your truck? It makes a difference. Is it a RABS (rear wheel ABS) or a 4WABS (all four wheel ABS)?

The haynes manual says if the abs light is on and while the truck is running to check the trouble codes on the Rabs connector, behind the glove box.

 

Its an '89 with RABS.

 

Do you remember if is was a bad rear end wheel sensor? Did only one wheel lock up? Did you pull the ABS fuse out until you found out what the problem was? I'm working on my ABS system, I got fuse out for now.
