Anyone else see the new Mustangs in Ohio? Amazingly, for Athens, there's a brand spankin new Mustang sittin out on the lot here. White, with red leather interior. What a beautiful machine.

 

no not yet, the closest i've been to one is a poster, i'd love to test drive one but i'm afraid i'd get lost with it for at least a couple of hours...

 

lol, i have seen several on the road and a few on the lots around here where i live. my 2002 truck is going to be paid off in a little over 2 years so i am hoping by that time there will be the Boss 302 version out i am hearing rumors about.

 

Local dealer had to give me a bib to keep from slobbering all over it! It brings back alot of fond memories.

I haven't seen one around here yet. I checked a couple times but they had not gotten any in yet. I was thinking about getting one but if I do I am going to wait for them to work the kinks out in the next year.

 

i spotted one today about 4:30ish driving up wayne ave, it was kinda a brownish-gold, very sharp car .Ford got it right.i'm waiting to see a rag-top...my last one was a 91 GT 5sp 5.0 white with a black top.

Took the wife to see one last week in hopkinsville ky. She had a near fatal accident, single vehicle, in june and totalled her new 2003 gt. Looked at it real good but less options with this new body style. They said no shaker hood, no scoope, ect. The headlamps are cool, but cheap! Just plastic lense. More trunk space, faster than the 03-04 stangs, better handling. All in all, the mustang she wrecked, probably saved her. She entered the median on a four lane highway early in the morning, still dark and no traffic. She came back up on the roadway, now backwards. The car began to spin back around into the right direction she was heading. didnt quite make it as the drivers side door slammed into and overpass embankment at over 70 mph. The driver's side took all the damage. The passenger side had body ripple marks. Interior dash board sucked in towards the engine, as all the components pushed outward towards the passenger side. She had to be cut out of the car and life flighted to vanderbilt university in nashville. If the 2005 holds up as well as her 2003, I would purchase another.

 

All i can say is wow, she is a very lady lucky, the man upstairs was watching out for her. thank goodnees for modern crash worthynees in the newer vehicals, and i'm sure this newer stang will do an even better job...but lets not put it to the test okay? once is more than enough for anybody.
