Whos driving these trucks????????

Most every 2004 f150 I see now these days have a younger generation driving them! Most people I see driving them are between the ages 19-25! I myself am I frist time truck buyer of a 04 XLT Supercrew with all the options at the age of 21 and noticing a lot of the younger generation now driving the new 04's!! Ford in my opionion had re-done this truck to have it stand out to all age's and I'm noticing that a lot compared to the older style f150's! The new style is what atracted me to buying a truck for the frist time and I have to say, I LOVE this truck!!!

I don't blame them! I'm from Ohio and I see more and more trucks on the roads! I don't think I'll go back into owning a car anytime soon! I have everything I ever need and want in this truck and it will do anything you want it to do! :-)

Around here it's oil and cattle country (Alberta). At least 65%, maybe more, of the vehicles on city streets and highways are 1/2 ton and bigger trucks or SUV's. You drive one at work and have one parked in the driveway at home. I guess it's just what people get used to driving.

I can't go down a road anymore without seeing the 04/05 model. They are taking over the world.

Thumbs up

I was gonna buy the bright yellow one, but being 50, I figured owning a Harley was enough for my kids to handle. I've had P/u's my whole life, after my 77 trans-am. Best truck I've had. Wish it had a 6.5' bed.

age

I'm 55, but whenever I get asked about my FX4, it's nearly always a much younger person showing the interest. I even still have the "old guy" pinstripe I put on temporarily awhile back. I got the "cap'n" chairs with the console mount shifter, and sure like it a lot. Anyone else get this option? There were hardly any available on the lots, so I had to look pretty hard. I'm happy I got it; keeps the wife way over by her own door. She ribbed me a bit the first few times she eyed that shifter. ;-)

31 yrs old 04 SCREW FX4. If I could have afforded it a new Ford truck would have been my first vehicle purchase. Now that I can afford it I seriously doubt I will ever be without a "big ford truck" ever again!!
