Guages?

Gentlemen, I have some questions regarding guages. I want to install an A-pillor for 3 guages boost, EGT, and trans temp. My question is can you adjust the lighting on these things so that you are not blinded by them while driving at night? Also I have been looking on e-guages.com and would appreciate your input on some good guages that have the adjustable lighting. I have a tan interior. Thankyou..

You can connect your gauge lights into the light blue/red stripe wire behind the headlight switch/dimmer,and the gauge illumination will dim with the dash lights.. If the gauges are too brite to begin with, swap the bulbs out for lower output bulbs to even them out.. Or, a variable resistance dimmer/switch would do the trick.. I went with the Isspro EV, as they are VERY close to the OEM look, and are 'backlit' with a red pointer as stock..
