HI just got this truck and it has a/c. has any one taken out the a/c in your truck? and if so is there a way to get the fire wall cleaned up? i would like to keep the compressor for an air supply. ive hear that ford had an enterior that looks like it had a/c but it was just for fresh air, but it had the a/c vents inside like mine. thanks

 

I've never actually seen one, but was told it's a a/c truck with no evaporator, lines, compressor, etc. So the firewall and heater box would appear the same.

The only way to be rid of the large a/c box, is to remove it and install a standard heater and patch the hole (left from the a/c box).
