The Round headlights were only put in 78 Custom's.

I would suggest a 77 XLT or some thing like that.

There are 5 or 6 of them for sale in my locale.

You're going to have to make a list of all the things you would want on this truck before I will suggest anything.

List your std equipment & options you want.

I have a friend with his own wrecking yard east of Edmonton but he doesn't like to sell whole trucks.

Have you checked our classifieds section ?

You should give www.canadatrader.com a try, you can usually find what you want on there (it has the majority of the autotrader adds but without the
price ) And if you can't find what you are looking for right away something will some up sooner or later, and you can only search for ones in the edmonton area as well.

Good advice from mustange70, try the Bargan Finder or Auto Trader, There still is quite a few 78/79 pickups out there, but condition varies a lot. I have two 79, and a 78 F-250, but none are complete. Warburg Auto Wreckers, has a nice 79 F-250 supercab with a factory 460 for sale. There about 60 miles south and west of Edmonton. Keep looking, your truck is out there just waiting for you.
